'This Is England', 'Rebel without a cause' and more . Me and my partner have paid special attention to the english films like 'This is england','Quadrophenia' and 'Fish Tank'. When watching all of these films, I noticed that each and every film had hidden connotations and symbols to represent different things.
My partner and I decided to use a Swan in our film to symbolise: hope and freedom. We have chosen this as we feel it fits in well with the genre and also has great connection with the the theame of our film 'identity'.
